Calgary, Alberta (TSX Venture: WMI) - Whetstone Minerals Inc. ("Whetstone") today announced that Thomas Pierce, Chief Financial Officer of Whetstone, has resigned to pursue other interests.

"We would like to thank Tom for his commitment and service to the company during his tenure here. We wish him well in the future." said Allan Dolan, Whetstone's Chairman.
